Manhunt 2

It's the game I've been waiting for, it release on monday, and hopefully be out to. I hope rockstar do a good job on this one!

The majority of posts have been removed from this thread because they solely deal with piracy and promotion of obtaining an illegal ISO file of this game. As per the Piracy Policy, this type of discussion and linking to instructions on how to get certain patched running is not allowed on these forums.

There will be no bans issued at this time, but I highly suggest you only discuss the actual gameplay of this game.

Any further discussion of patches applied to pirated/backed-up versions of this game will result in a minimum of a thread ban.

It's all there, the blur, the violent, gruesome (but really nice) graphic, intense music, lolz...
If it got 7.5, I would say it is because of the control, sometime it so hard to look around

Yea the right analog stick should really be for Camera movement, it's harder to see where the guys are...

IGN is a harsh mistress. I don't believe their scores. Nor do I believe EGM's.

Well...the graphics look weird. The camera is all static (you can adjust it) and it looks really really weird. I really can't play it since my analog is broken, so yea. I got to see how it was on the outside basically. It's a Rockstar game, it's extremely deep and extremely good. Even though I basically didn't really play it, the game would get at least a 8.5-9 from me easily.

;) but those static work really well with the cut screen and the mood (since those guys are not exactly sane). The only thing that annoying about the graphic is during the steath kill, where it all flashing and stuff (god it hurt my eyes in the beginning but then I realized just how smoth the graphic is even for PSP, no lag and all).
=_= if the free look was a bit better, the game would get 9.5-10 out of me easily. Rockstar really did a great job on this one :D. I just got to the 2nd episode, but the scene in the house freak me out many times :))....

the game is awesome.... controls are about as good as can be with only one analog... the static is supposted to be there.. the game has NO lag and is pretty gruesome... i stabbed a guy in the ear with a pen the stabbed him in then face and in chest about 5 time then threw him on the ground... perfect to play on halloween other then silent hill

on the ps2 version codebreaker supposedly removes most of the censoring. I believe it is B/W, but not blurred.

i know i just made to the house and got the meds in the basement and have to kill off those guys in black... the plastic bag is funny.. yeah the uncut version got leaked to ps2 a while back... i bet its really bad if they had to cut stuff on this

yes that trick does work!!! it takes all that epileptic fit causing flashing to go away from the stealth kills... now you can watch the brutal murders without out all that stuff thanks for the tip chuck67... as far as the static effect.. you can turn that off in the options if you want to

the censoring just makes the game look like it was ran through a ton of photoshop filters during every kill. you can still see what's going on, but you can't see any of the details. just some movement.

removing those effects makes each kill broad as day, you can see everything.

as an example, prior to removing them, I would do some kills with a shovel, and just thought he was hitting the guys. after removing them I saw that he put the shovel to the guys neck and stomped!
...clear off.

so much better.

I am going to go out and buy this soon.. Turned 17 over a week ago and want to see if they card me.(They will, ive was carded at Wal Mart for Killzone Liberation which was T:o )

Does the blur ruin the game? I wont be able to use the UMDGEN thing because I dont believe that it works on Mac.

actuaaly now that you mention there is hostel type stuff in this game.. when you make it to the bar there are rooms with video camera set up in the back with guys torturing people in each room.. you get to go into them one by one and kill the torturers... you can chop people up with a power saw and remove heads to throw as distractions... that not even getting started on the stuff that happens... IMO its violent not scary altho level 2 is creppy when he sees ghost and that ball come rolling out of nowhere
